Recently, Sichuan Dexin Mining Resources Co., Ltd. announced that its spodumene mine project located in Aba Prefecture, Sichuan Province, has begun construction, which is not only one of the largest spodumene mining projects in Asia, but also will provide a strong resource guarantee for China's new energy automobile industry. The total investment of the project is about 1.65 billion yuan, and it is expected to build a spodumene mine with a mining capacity of 1.05 million tons/year. The project will cover utility facilities such as mining engineering, beneficiation engineering, tailings storage and road transportation engineering, with the aim of creating a modern mine that is environmentally friendly, efficient and sustainable.

Since Sichuan Dexin Mining Resources Co., Ltd. began construction of the project in March 2018, it has completed a cumulative investment of 1.47 billion yuan, accounting for 89 percent of the total investment. At present, the project has entered the trial production stage, indicating that the project will be put into operation soon.
